Speech Centers: Does It Have My Sound?

Description

This articulation sorting activity is perfect for mixed groups when you need to keep students busy in a productive way while you are giving direct attention to other students.

Articulation speech centers are designed to be simple, quick, and independent so students can have productive practice rather than silent busy work when they are not receiving 1:1 input. Centers can be used individually to target specific skills or you can use multiple centers in a session.

In this “Does It Have My Sound?” speech center, students will sort words into two categories – those that contain their sound, and those that don’t. This is a perfect activity for reinforcing the idea that sounds and letters are not always represented the same way.

Each sound includes the category sorting cards and 20 word cards to sort.
