R Articulation for Older Students from Words to Carryover – Upper Elementary

Finally, an articulation resource designed specifically for older kids in speech therapy!

In this R articulation packet for upper elementary – middle school students, you can help your older speech students target their articulation sounds using age-appropriate vocabulary targets and strategies.

Students will practice their target sounds at the word, phrase, sentence, reading, and conversation levels. There is also space to calculate accuracy to promote self-monitoring.

75 Tier II vocabulary words are presented in sets of three, organized by sound. Students will target three words at a time working across levels to solidify basic skills and support carryover.

While this resource leans heavily on level-appropriate Tier II vocabulary it is designed to be a resource primarily for articulation.

This particular product level includes Tier II vocabulary around the third-grade level, making it appropriate for articulation targets for upper-elementary-aged students.

Many of the vocabulary words throughout the pages have multiple word meanings, and care has been taken to include some variations in the sentence and conversation level prompts.

Each set of practice includes opportunities to practice the sound over different levels of complexity PLUS space to calculate accuracy to encourage self-monitoring.
