Backpack Filler: Open Ended Reinforcement Game for Mixed Speech Therapy Groups

Description

This open-ended reinforcement game is the perfect way to keep groups moving through turns and getting lots of trials – even when each student has different goals.

This game is perfect for any class as a motivator for drill practice, but I love to use it for articulation practice, especially for groups of students working on different sounds or a mix of articulation and language skills.

Simply print and laminate the cards, give each student a trial of your choosing*, and have them pick a card from a pile (or basket, bucket, whatever!).

The aim of the game is to paint as many pictures as possible with the 5 possible “supplies” (backpack, glue, notebook, pencil, and scissors). Better yet – draw a completed card and you have already filled a whole backpack. BONUS! If you get a DOG ATE YOUR HOMEWORK! card, you have to put a card back!
