Articulation Cryptograms – NO-PREP Speech Therapy Brain Teaser Puzzles

Articulation Cryptogram Puzzles are perfect for a fresh new activity in speech therapy, especially for older students that are bored with the same old articulation activities. Students will use logic to solve the sentences and practice their speech sounds while doing so.

Each sound has 6 pages – two levels with two forms each, so you can always do one in class, and send one home. There are 72 total puzzles included in this set, each with a separate code!

The three different levels are designed to be used either with younger vs. older students OR (and this is how I use them)…I start each student with the easiest version so they can learn how to do the cryptogram, then I have many students do the next two levels the following weeks. I am able to use these puzzles over a few weeks in therapy since there are 6 per sound (3 levels and two different versions each).

While this activity is great for older students (the highest level made even my middle and high-schoolers think and use logic!), the three included levels mean it will work well from 1st grade and up.

Instructions are included in the product, as well as an answer key. The included Tips and Tricks printable will help you guide your students through the logic of solving the code.
